France is subsidizing its own cultural reordering by financing illegal immigration. I have a friend, native French, call him Pierre, who relocated his family to America nearly thirty years ago. He wanted a better life and got it. But Pierre has kept up with French and European social and political news throughout the years and used to return home regularly. He no longer does so, he says, because he no longer feels safe there. The reason? To paraphrase Pierre's politically incorrect words, "The Muslims. They are taking over the country and they are escalating crime." Maybe Pierre would have been more accurate to say North Africans, and maybe not, but I got his point.

Pierre says France's brave new world is being sponsored largely by socialists in office who defend illegal immigration by pointing to the huge financial sacrifices of the illegals who are said to pay on the average $8,000 per person per smuggle to enter their new land. "What great citizens these people who have sacrificed and saved so much will make," the socialists say, "and how much they must love us to make the effort." But the illegals, according to Pierre, do not save and then pay $8,000 each to illegally enter France, they simply pledge a portion of their future and nearly immediate welfare checks to their smugglers then hop on the boat.

If true, and it sounds true because it is France, after all, and so insane, the practice is bolstering the power of those who have designed to import a new, grateful electorate in France, but it is also surely bankrupting one of the world's once great nations. Just another chapter in the book, yet to be completed, on the Suicide of the West.
